Entrepreneurship Club

Our Mission Statement:
“To foster an entrepreneurial community of artists from Columbia College Chicago through education, networking, and assistance.”

We'll be holding Elections for New Officers on December 3rd at 4pm after the Elevator Pitch Competition in the Ecenter room 716. Throw your hat in the ring and run for an office in the E Club! You can make a difference in the lives of other young entrepreneurs.

Meetings are Wednesdays at 4pm in the Ecenter in room 716.

On November 21st and December 5th, we’re hosting Artists’ Show & Tell Nights in the Hokin Lecture Hall from 6:30 to 9:30pm. Participants get 3 to 5 minutes to show their art—be it a live performance, showing artwork or photography, or some other art form. In order to perform, you must come to the E Club meetings and sign up, as we will need to know your tech needs. Anyone may attend as an audience member. The house seats 75 and we’d love applause!

On December 3rd, we’re working with the Ecenter to sponsor an Elevator Pitch Competition. The contestants must provide a basic business plan to accompany their 3 minute live pitch. Only old-fashioned visuals are allowed—no computer use. The competition will take place between 1pm and 4pm with spots open for 25 competitors only. To sign up, and for the application and guidelines, you must attend an E Club meeting or stop by the Ecenter between 9am and 2pm on Thursdays or Fridays. Applications are due November 21st at 2pm. There will be a cash prize for the winner, and other prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. The winners will be announced at the E Club meeting following the competition at 4pm.
