As a small business owner you need capital to start your business, build inventory, purchase equipment and raw materials. Businesses also need to establish good credit and one of the best ways to do that is by getting financing from a bank. Through the Columbia College Ecenter, obtaining that capital is easier than you think!
ATTEND THIS PRESENTATION TO LEARN HOW!
The SBA Community Express Loan program has you in mind. It helps you, as a small business owner:
- Establish a long term relationship with a bank
- Get a Community Express Loan with no collateral requirement
- Go through an easy, painless and fast application process with minimal paperwork
Date: Every other Friday (see schedule for specific dates)
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (please arrive on time: presentation starts promptly at 10)

Come and listen to a presentation focused on how the Ecenter can help you as a small business owner. At the end of the session you can apply for your loan!
Small business owners can apply for loans between $5,000 and $50,000 for start up or existing businesses.
All you need:
- Documentation verifying the existence of your business entity
- A business checking account and a business check
- Social security number or federal tax ID number
- Valid driver’s license or state ID
- Secondary identification (utility bill, bank or mortgage statement)
- Good credit standing
All owners of the business must be present to apply. The documentation fee is $475. Personal checks will not be accepted. No fee will be charged for unapproved loan applications.
If you are a student starting your own web site, event planning company, record label, or fashion boutique, you are a small business owner!
