BiographyDavid Purcell, Esq., is active in the music industry as a performer, educator and industry consultant. As a professional performer (drums/percussion), David has extensive performance experience both in the United States and internationally and has performed and/or recorded with both artists and productions including: Jesse Malin, Ashford & Simpson, Tom Wopat, Debbie Harry (Blondie), Jody Watley, Neil Patrick Harris, , Mink Stole, Princess Superstar, John Cameron Mitchell, Ian Astbury (The Cult), Goon Squad, The Rocky Horror Show, Phantom of the Opera, The Great American Trailer Park Musical.
David is also active as a music industry consultant in the areas of business and legal affairs and works with both individuals and corporations including the internationally renowned Roadrunner Records, and the multinational publishing company, Robot of the Century Music Publishing. David is also the founder and president of Music Royalty Solutions, a business management firm specializing in business management and financial solutions for independent recording, performing and songwriting artists, as well as independent companies, and startups in the greater entertainment industries.
David is a proud graduate of Berklee College of Music and The University of Wisconsin Law School.
