Research Interest


     Testing research models on how individuals and artists become self-employed and engage the world of entrepreneurship. Active participant of several Entrepreneurship Research activities such as the University of Chicago Entrepreneurship Project, Babson ERC project and pursuing own research in the field of Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management and Economic Development. I have a database of surveys of entrepreneurs from Russia, Romania, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, USA, and South Africa and Mexico. Collecting data from entrepreneurs in the Chicago land area. The objective is to gain deeper understanding of Entrepreneurial Motivation, Entrepreneurial Intensity, Entrepreneurial Sacrifices, Entrepreneurial Commitment, Entrepreneurial/Familial interactions, Entrepreneurial/Economic Development theories and the Best Practices of Entrepreneurs. Final goal is to operationalize the determinants of successful entrepreneurship development.

Primary Activity


     Developing psychometric and philosophical foundations necessary to construct practical, objective measurements and scales in Entrepreneurship and Arts Entrepreneurship using inferential stability, conjoint additivity and composition analysis. Designing and publishing theories that better link Entrepreneurship and Economic development and explain The Causes & Effects of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development.
