Biography
Monique Maye is a native of New York City, where she attended Brooklyn College, and earned a degree in Political Science. She has a Masters degree in Sports Management from Brooklyn College and a Law degree from Massachusetts School of Law. She is a licensed Agent. During her collegiate career, Ms. Maye lettered in softball and basketball. Beyond her collegiate years, she played Professional basketball in Europe. She also coached basketball internationally as well as on the collegiate level at Brooklyn College in New York City and Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Moreover, while building a client base spanning the national and international markets, Ms. Maye, created camps and tours for professional athletes to showcase their talents for international basketball scouts. She successfully negotiated programs support from corporate sponsors, like New Balance.

Following law school, Ms. Maye established Maye & Associates Sports Management, representing a host of male and female basketball players transitioning from college to professional sports. Over the years her firm has represented NBA, WNBA and International players.

In 2001, Monique founded Youth in Action and non -profit organization established to afford High School aged male basketball players the opportunity to participate in international basketball tournaments and learn about the history, culture and art of the countries they visit.
