Nissan Wasfie - Arts Entrepreneurship / Lecturer

Biography

Nissan Wasfie has worked for various arts organizations including Murphy Rabb Inc. in Chicago, the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, and the Shooting Gallery (Sling Blade, You Can Count on Me) in New York City.  He continues to provide consulting to artists and small not-for-profit and for-profit arts businesses. 

Nissan began teaching part-time at Columbia College in 2003 and became a full-time faculty member in 2006.  He co-coordinates the Arts Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management concentration and coordinates the Annual Arts Entrepreneurship Awards.
