Music Business

The Music Business concentration leads to professions in music production, music marketing, talent management and label management.

The AEMM curriculum is divided into three levels. Students may take Level I, Level II and Level III courses concurrently, provided prerequisite requirements are met.

The following requirements are for Music Business Majors only.
Please view the core requirements for all AEMM majors.


Students must select 15 credit hours from the following.

Then, students must take at least 9 credit hours within one Sub-Concentrations.

Unless otherwise advised by a faculty advisor, students should select from among the courses in a single arts genre in Music Business. The order of the course listing does not infer priority or sequencing; students should consult with an advisor to select the courses that best fit their needs.

See your Internship Coordinator to select and register for your internship. You must have a cumulative gpa of 3.0 or higher and you must have completed a minimum of 60 total credit hours to register for internship.
