Anchor Graphics @ Columbia College Chicago is a not-for-profit fine art printshop that brings together, under professional guidance, a diverse community of youth, emerging and established artists, and the public to advance the fine art of printmaking by integrating education with the creation of prints.

Manifest On A RollMay 16, 2008

Manifest On A Roll returns for its second installment as part of Columbia College Chicago's end of the school year celebration. Join us in inking up lino blocks to create 60 yards of collaboritve print mayhem and recieve a free comemorative screenprint of the unofficial Manifest mascot rabbit. Manifest On A Roll will take place in the lobby of 623 S. Wabash.

Along side Chicago's robust music scene is a vibrant and thriving set of designers and artists producing its show posters, t-shirts and album covers. This group exhibition will feature a selection of fine art prints by some of the leading screen printers associated with Chicago music. You have seen their work for your favorite bands, now come see what they do for themselves. Curated by Anchor Graphics and on exhibit at the A+D Gallery. Opening reception June 26, 5-8pm.

Columbia College Chicago and Anchor Graphics will be hosting the Southern Graphics Council's annual printmaking conference in 2009 featuring 4 days of exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops, lectures and round table discussions exploring the artistic and social currents that can be found in printmaking throughout the world.
