Amanda Knowles was in the shop creating a series of mixed media prints based on scientific diagrams and illustrations. Her work bends such imagery away from its intended purpose to clarify the world in terms of reason and logic. Instead she uses visual representations of complex systems to create abstract compositions that attempt to share the beauty of mystery of science as a whole rather than explain the workings of particular parts of the world.
