Alan Lerner
June 29 - July 18, 2009
Alan Lerner worked on screen prints exploring the human need to belong to groups whether they be political, religious, or social and our often shifting affiliations with them. Using vivid colors and a collage aesthetic, these prints examine the conflicts that can arise between groups and within individual group members as they try to identify with constantly changing ideas in search of their own beliefs.
