Zoltan Janvary
May 17 - 29, 2010
Zoltan Janvary worked on a series of engravings that depicts imaginary historical buildings inspired by the golden era of human history as depicted in the Epos of Gilgamesh. This was a time when humans believed in the importance of communication with divine beings. To this end, they constructed large towers, which served as bridges and observatories designed to help them understand signs offered to them from higher powers.
