Alain Douglas Park

May 2004

Alain Douglas Park created a series of relief prints using everything from polymer plates to pencil erasers. Inspired by Asian art and incorporating patterns formed from simple nautical imagery, the final layer on each is text of the dialog spoken by Captain Ahab in Moby Dick.
