The Art + Design Department Resource Room makes pertinent materials available to the teaching and learning mission of the department. It is a space open to all students, faculty, and staff. The Resource Room’s mission is to: provide a visual archive of teaching and resource materials; to serve as a repository for faculty reference materials that can be shared for enhanced classroom experiences and interactive learning models of teaching; and to be an inspirational space that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration.

Like a contemporary cabinet of curiosities, it houses a wide sample of materials along with examples of important art and design objects and products for research and study. For example, exhibition related resources, museum publications, exhibition catalogs, a few artist monographs, videos, art journals, and periodicals are all available for faculty and student reference. The Resource Room also houses our very extensive collection of recorded visiting artist lectures.
