Geof worked in vocational counseling for several years when he decided to take his own advice and find work he'd enjoy, so he enrolled in product design classes at Columbia in 2003 and was hired on as staff a few years later. Geof's work at Columbia involves two things he loves to do: making things and explaining things. In his free time he enjoys cycling and volunteer work with sustainability issues.
