Megan Euker was born in Baltimore, MD and has lived in Chicago since 2001. She was a U.S. Fulbright Fellow to Italy (in the field of painting) during 2008-9 and received her B.F.A and M.F.A degrees from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2005 and 2007. Her recent professional experience includes faculty appointments at the College of DuPage, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Hyde Park Art Center, as well as an appointment as Assistant manager for the Sharp Instructional Shops at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago during 2007-8. She has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards including grants from CAAP and the Illinois Arts Council. Megan is represented by Linda Warren Gallery in Chicago (since 2007) and has also shown at Western Exhibitions (Chicago), Togonon Gallery (San Francisco) and Prince Street Gallery (New York). Other than painting and sculpture, her interests include swimming and martial arts as well as Italian language and culture. She began working at Columbia College as a Shops and Labs Technician in Fall 2011.
