The Columbia Arts/ Florence program offers credited summer classes in Art, Design, Fashion, Photography, Film and Liberal Education. They are taught by Columbia College faculty and are facilitated at the Lorenzo de' Medici School, situated in the heart of historic Florence, Italy.

The school provides a full b&w darkroom, computer lab, printmaking studio, painting studio, library, and additional classrooms. Along with studio, history and classroom activities, all courses include field trips in and around Florence, Tuscany, and other parts of Northern Italy. Students live in comfortable apartments within walking distance of the school.
