Bethany Brownholtz is the Administrative Assistant, Admissions Liaison, and Writing Improvement Program Coordinator (WIP). Her main duties include assisting the Chair, resource acquisition and management, and prospective student relations. She also provides writing consultation for students and faculty.
Bethany earned a BA in English and Art from West Chester University of Pennsylvania's Honors College and an MA in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University. She has worked in college and high school writing centers, has written and edited publications, and has tutored English, writing, and ACT prep. Her work has been featured in Writers News Weekly, Blood Lotus Literary Journal, Broad Magazine, and more. Bethany has served as a writing consultant to the Adler School of Professional Psychology since 2011 and was associate managing editor for How Long Will I Cry, an oral history narrative about youth violence in Chicago.
