Stacey Hurst has worked in a variety of mental health settings and is currently in private practice at Mind Body Connections located at Clarus Center in Warrenville, IL where she works individually with adolescents and adults. Stacey consults with business professionals to improve their non-verbal skills using Laban based methods and teaches faculty development courses at the School of Performing Arts in Naperville, IL.
Stacey has taught in the Department of Creative Arts Therapies (DCAT) department for the past 13 years, she has been a thesis advisor and reader and served as the coordinator for the Graduate Laban Certificate in Movement Analysis Program. Stacey has been on the board of directors for the American Dance Therapy Association for the past eight years serving as central region member-at-large and secretary.
