HOW TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION TO COLUMBIA COLLEGE

Columbia's admission policy takes students' potential - as well as their experience and education into consideration.  An Admissions Committee carefully evaluates each student's past academic performance, admissions essay, and letter(s) of recommendation to determine their potential to succeed in Columbia's rigorous arts and communications curriculum.

SAT/ACT scores and/or portfolios or auditions are not required for admission to the college.  However, the Dance Department does require that students complete a level-placement audition at Orientation or at the beginning of each term to determine what level technique class new students will begin their training at.  A faculty panel will observe the level placement audition and assess the student's technique level.
