Fall 2010 Orientation & Level Placement Audition

When:    July 19 and August 9, 2010

To attend Orientation, you must reserve a spot in advance.
Please RSVP directly with the Office of New Student programs at:

All incoming students or current students who have not yet been placed in a technique level must attend one orientation and participate in the level placement audition.

What to expect:           
The audition class will consist of a ballet and modern class with a hip-hop/jazz combination.

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO DANCE.
For the ballet class, students will need to wear a leotard, footless tights and ballet shoes (pointe shoes are not permitted).For the modern portion of the class, bare feet are required.

Students who have completed the application process and signed up online should receive prior notification in the mail about this audition.


ALL STUDENTS MUST SIGN UP FOR AN ORIENTATION SESSION ONLINE:  New Student Programs & Orientation

By registering to audition for level placement the student understands:

- Space is limited.

- Non-Majors or Minors will receive an audition # on a first come first 
  serve basis if space allows.

If the audition is full, students are encouraged to take any of the dance courses listed below to further their studies.
