Summary
Both full- and part-time faculty have varied and extensive experiences and expertise in the areas in which they teach. Just as faculty use a wide variety of tools to measure candidate performance, they also receive feedback from students, peers, the Program Director and the Department Chair to monitor the effectiveness of their teaching. Technology and attention to diversity are integrated into course syllabi and classroom modeling. Scholarship, professional activities and service are documented within the institution and in the external P-12 community. Tenure-track requirements, collegial collaboration, and professional development opportunities support the ever-increasing excellence of our unit’s faculty.
