Kevin Kilroy
First Year Writing, Literature
Kevin Kilroy teaches Writing at Columbia College and Malcolm X City College. He received his MFA in Creative Writing from The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University. Along with Emily Crocker and Ben Hersey, he runs Black Lodge Press--publishers of experimental prose and fictions. Currently he is reading a lot of Cortazar and Borges, Beckett and Flann O'Brien, Laird Hunt and Renee Gladman, Pessoa and Sebald, and the essays from Biting the Error. His play, The Silence of Malachi Ritscher, was performed by Theatre 5.2.1 in the Spring of 2007.
