Whitney Kurtz-Ogilvie
First Year Writing, Oral Expression, Professional Writing
Whitney Kurtz-Ogilvie teaches in the First Year Writing, Professional Writing, and Oral Expression departments at Columbia. She has her MFA in creative writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and writes both poetry and fiction. She has published short stories and poems in various small magazines, and during 2001 and 2002 she edited and contributed to the satirical zine The Pensive Porpentine. She is currently hard at work on her first novel, which involves, among other things, a very cynical talking cat.
