Columbia Poetry Reading Series

Each year, the English Department hosts a Poetry Reading Series featuring distinguished poets. During 2004-2005 readers included G.S. Giscombe, Ed Roberson, Emily Hooper Lansana, Glenda Zahra Baker, Wosene Kosrof, Stephanie Strickland, Suzanne Buffam, Robin Becker, Kevin Stein, Elaine Equi, Mary Jo Bang, and Connie Deanovich. The 2006-2007 series included Patricia Spears Jones, Maggie Nelson, Martha Collins, A. Van Jordan, Dorianne Laux, Joan Larkin, Richard Meier, and Michael Palmer.
