Audrean graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a B. F.A. concentrating in fashion design and Columbia College Chicago with a Master of Arts in Teaching. She has studied art and fashion in Europe. Been is a free-lance fashion and costume designer with years of teaching and design experience. She has participated in numerous fashion shows around the world. She was recently featured in the Handweavers Guild of America’s Walk in Beauty fashion event during Convergence 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and at the Marche Bonsecours in Montreal, Canada for a Live Gallery International Textile and Apparel show. Audrean’s creations have been sold at Marshall Fields, as well as many small boutiques. Her costumes have appeared in Jewel Food Store commercials, educational films, dance performances and Chicago’s Annual Holiday Parade.
