Lynda is an alumni of Columbia College Chicago. She started working at Columbia College Chicago as a Fashion Design Technician in 2000. She later assumed the role of Fashion Design Studio Manager and is currently the Academic Coordinator in the new Fashion Studies Department. Lynda is involved in scheduling, curriculum planning and advising initiatives. She finds working with students to be very rewarding and is a strong believer in the importance of good advising and communication. She was the designer/owner of a women's knitwear company and did freelance technical drawings for Spiegel and Sears. Her designs have been published in trade magazines and she enjoys painting, bookmaking and collage. As an adjunct professor, Lynda has taught Fundamentals of Fashion Design, Fashion Design: Concepts, Garment Construction 1, Textile Fabrication Techniques and High School Summer Institute.
