Helpful Websites
Every online magazine or writing center has a page of suggested links. In fact, in order to create this site we had to promise to create our own. So surf away, intrepid young writer. Just remember that you must eventually get back to completing stories if you want any chance of seeing your name in print.

Flash Prose - super short-short stories or creative nonfiction - is exploding with the proliferation of online literary magazines. Here's a list of our favorites.

Duotrope's Digest is a database of over 2,050 current markets for short fiction, poetry, and novels/story collections. Search magazines by pay scale, genre, medium - just about anything. A unique and powerful tool for all writers looking to submit work.

Red Hot Market
Prick of the Spindle has a great website. It's easy to get around, the colors don't stab you in the face (like some I've seen) when you're trying to read and they'll even take novella-length pieces. They seem to be genuinely interested in representing both new talent and published writers.
