Deadlines

Only one of our departments (Education) functions within a rolling admission, which means applications are reviewed and decisions are made continuously.  Our other programs have structured admission cycles (non-rolling) in which all applications are reviewed at one time once the deadline passes. Either way, an early application is encouraged.

Applications are reviewed by Director of Graduate Admissions and, if complete, forwarded to the Faculty Admissions Committee in the applicant's program. The Committee then sends their recommendation back to the Graduate Office for a final review.  It takes at least eight to ten weeks to receive a decision once the deadline passes.  (Applicants to the Education department can expect to receive a decision within eight to ten weeks of submitting their application since that department has rolling admissions.)
