Calling all Publications: How to Submit to Future Printers' Balls Events!
Printers' Ball 2010
Everyone is invited to share what they're
able—books, magazines, broadsides, posters, CDs, bookmarks, buttons, flyers,
you name it! If what you’re sending is low-run or rare, we’ll take special care
to make sure it’s displayed respectfully and visibly. Slip in special subscription
offers or send us links to special deals, and we’ll proliferate those too! And
please note that editions needn't be current. We love back issues; in fact
Printers’ Ball started in part to showcase everything that’s wonderful about a
publication, instead of one specific issue.
Here’s how it works:
Email editors@poetrymagazine.org to sign up and share your
literary endeavor with over 250 participating arts organizations and more than
2,000 attendees.
E-mail us:
(1) Name of your organization (2) Contact person (3) Type and number of materials you're sending (4) URL to learn more about your project (videos! pictures! audio! we'll spread the word!)
If you’d like to work out better ways to represent what you do online or in person, we’re open and all ears as ever. And remember, there are no table fees, no admission fees, and everything is free!
You needn't be in Chicago to be a part of the Printers' Ball! We'll look after print sent remotely and ensure that your materials are displayed prominently.
New this year: If you’re participating
remotely, we’ll send you back a goodie bag from the Ball!
E-mail Mairead Case
at mairead.case@gmail.com and we’ll save
a bundle for you!
