Visit the Center
Due to building renovations, the Center for Book and Paper Arts gallery, studio and facilities are closed. We will reopen in August 2014 for Fall semester classes, exhibitions and public programs.
The Center is located in the Columbia Arts District in the heart of Chicago's South Loop on the second floor of the Ludington Building at 1104 South Wabash Ave. We are on the southwest corner of Wabash Ave. and 11th Street.
DRIVING DIRECTIONSConveniently located near I-90/94, I-290, and I-55, the Center is easily accessible from all major highways in the area. To help you plan the fastest routes we suggest using Google Maps.
Although street parking is available at metered locations along the adjacent streets, most visitors to Columbia's South Loop campus park their cars in paid lots located along Wabash Avenue between Congress Parkway and Roosevelt Road.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATIONThe Center is easily accessible by public transportation. The CTA Orange, Green, and Red rail line stop closest to the Center is ROOSEVELT, and bus routes can be found at http://www.transitchicago.com. Use the CTA to plan your visit!
Unless otherwise specified, all exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.
Currently closed for renovations.
Please check our Exhibitions page for all current and upcoming exhibitions dates.
The Center for Book and Paper Arts gallery and event spaces are accessible to wheelchairs. For events and lectures, please call ahead if you may need special accommodations.
