Cameron Reed

Cameron Reed was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan. Her parents always knew she would end up on TV, because she had a tendency to hog screen time in family videos.

She first became interested in journalism after she took a multi-media class in high school. She fell in love with camera work, script writing, and meeting new people. After finishing two years of community college, Cameron started working toward a degree in broadcast journalism degree at Columbia College Chicago.

Cameron just finished an internship at Comcast SportsNet, where she was able to meet several Chicago sports figures including Lance Briggs, Ben Wallace, Jim Thome and Lou Piniella.

After graduation, Cameron hopes to work as a sports reporter. Her dream job is to work for ESPN or Comcast SportsNet.

In her spare time, Cameron enjoys going to baseball games, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She is also working on her instrument rating to go along with her private pilots license.
