I grew up, like many kids, dreaming of becoming a professional badminton player. Things were going along as planned. I was training day in and day out at the sport that I loved and the scouts loved me. As I aged, I realized I could be the best badminton player on the planet, and companies began to look at me for sponsorships. Birdies Unlimited Inc., signed me to a deal that will last until the Apocalypse, so that could be a million years or one day from now, but it was a good deal so I agreed. Unfortunetly, due to a freak injury, my badminton career came to a screeching end… It looks like my apocalypse came early. In reality, I’m a senior graduating this May at Columbia College Chicago. My ultimate goal is to do play-by-play for a professional baseball team. I currently play lacrosse for the Columbia College Renegades lacross team and we are in our second year on campus. As far as play-by-play goes, I am a stronger believer in letting the teams and fans tell the story and I am there to go along for the ride. |
