Metro Minutes is a student-produced news show at Columbia College Chicago that airs weekly on Frequency Television. The show offers students the opportunity to learn all facets of planning and executing a news program. Broadcast journalism students anchor, report, shoot, write, and edit stories on topics ranging from college news to events in the greater Chicago area.
Columbia's Director of Broadcast Journalism, Lillian Williams, leads the reporting team and former CLTV news director, Jim Disch, leads the producing team. Omar Castillo leads Web site and editing production for the show.
