Michelle Cooper

I am currently a senior at Columbia College Chicago and will be graduating in May 2008 with a degree in broadcast journalism. I have previously worked on Metro Minutes as a reporter/anchor and am currently involved with Beyond the Game.

I hope to work as a sideline sports reporter for ESPN, because I have a passion for sports and think getting to do what you love everyday would be the greatest job in the world.

I have previously interned at Comcast SportsNet and had the opportunity to interview Chicago Blackhawks head coach Denis Savard and players like Patrick Kane and Adam Burish.

In my free time I like to go to all types of sporting events, watch movies, hang out with my friends and spend time with my family. My favorite team used to be the Cubs until they got rid of Mark Grace, who in my opinion was one of the greatest first-basemen of all time. Now I would have to say it is the New York Mets because David Wright is an outstanding player.
