Marketing to the Global Consumer

The Consumer today is, in fact, thousands of different consumers. It is possible to segment an unlimited number of distinct niche markets. We'll explore a dozen of these market segments, and get new insights into the people for whom products and services are developed, and to whom marketing, advertising and public relations communications are directed. This course, while focusing on American markets, will also look abroad into the world's markets. Newly gained knowledge of marketing and global consumer will be applied in the creative course project where students discover a new niche market and develop a product/service for it while improving their writing and presentation skills.
