Getting Your Student ID Card
All High School Summer Institute Students are entitled to and will likely need a Columbia student ID card. If you want to use a computer lab on campus, any academic department labs, or the library, you will have to present your Columbia student ID to gain access to those facilities.
You will only be able to get an ID through the end of the first week of class. After that, the Campus Card Office will be taking care of incoming Undergraduate Students during Orientation and will no longer be available to HSSI students.
To get a student ID, you will need to present a photo ID (State ID or high school student ID or similar) to the campus ID staff.
