Summer Arts Camp

Photographers, film makers, actors, dancers, poets, musicians and other artists have created a brilliant summer for your child! The Summer Arts Camp at Columbia College Chicago is a six week program that explores the visual, performing and media arts for children in grades 3rd - 9th. Your child will enjoy the resources of an arts and communication college as well as the cultural vitality of downtown Chicago. Join us for an unforgettable summer!

2012 six-week session:  $1795

After Camp Care:  $450 for the session OR $16 on a per day basis

Family Discount:  Families with more than one child attending will receive a $250 discount for each additional child.

Registrations will be accepted over the phone on a first come, first served basis and will open up to the public on January 23rd, 2012.  A $400 deposit is due at the time of registration.  Balances must be paid in full by June 1st, 2012.  Cancellations made after April 30th, 2012 will be non-refundable.

We are proud to announce that two of our films (made by campers from the 2009 summer session) were accepted to the 2010 Chicago International Children's Film Festival!

The Chicago International Children's Film Festival is North America's largest and most celebrated film festival devoted to films for and by kids, and it's the only Academy®-qualifying children's film festival in the world. Singing Food premiered Sunday, October 24th at 3pm (part of "Top Pix: Kids' Flicks I") and A World Without Colors premiered Sunday, October 31st at 1pm (part of "Top Pix: Kids' Flicks II"). Both screenings took place at Facets Cinema, 1517 W. Fullerton Ave.  Congratulations, Campers!!
