Internship

The internship in cultural studies is an integral part of the Cultural Studies Program. Although an elective experience, we highly recommend that all CS majors consider taking a semester of internship. Our internship provides students with supervised work experience under the sponsorship of a local cultural organization, a campus-based cultural organization, or with a CS faculty member. Students will typically spend 8-10 hours per week at their internship site (over 15 weeks) or in the case of a summer internship, 15 hours per week (over 8 weeks). The internship is onlyavailable to cultural studies majors and may be repeated for up to 6.0 credits.
