Dave Gordon
Dave Gordon, MBA, is the Director of Internship Studies. He has held senior marketing and general management positions in the consumer products and entertainment industries with Alberto Culver, Oak Industries, Storey, Gordon and Freer and the John O Butler Company. He was also President of David E. Gordon Associates, an executive search firm and has been counseling both students and executives in job hunting skills for over 15 years.
He has taught seminars at DePaul University, Roosevelt and Columbis College Chicago. A contributing writer to the Wall Street Journal's National Business Employment Weekly, The Journal of Colleges and Employers, College Recruiter.com and Career magazine, Dave has twice been a speaker at the National Association of Colleges and Employers annual conference.
At Columbia, Dave developed the curriculum for the popular course, Marketing Yourself, Job Hunting Tools for the Rest of Your Life and currently, runs our very successful internship program, which enrolls more than 150 students a year. He earned his MBA in Marketing from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in New York and his B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
