What If I Am Interested in Studying Sports Marketing?

Students in all concentrations who are interested in sports marketing can elect to have a focus in Sports Marketing Communication in addition to the concentration. This focus enables you to take the skills you've learned and apply them to one of the fastest-growing industries, preparing to address the need for professional sports marketing practitioners in the field of public relations, advertising, promotion, market research, and event planning. For this focus, you may use at least 9 credit hours of your Department or College-Wide electives. Please select from the following courses:

54-2801 Sports Public Relations and Marketing
54-2802 Marketing Communication Law
54-2804 Advertising and Promotion
