Study in Prague
Global Marketing Workshop
54-2550

May 23 - June 25, 2011

The Marketing Communication Department is excited to offer a study abroad program where students learn to apply marketing principles to real life problem solving situations. Students will have the opportunity to interface with advertising agency personnel from Beans a DRAFTFCB affiliate in Prague.

The program is taught over a five week period and is taught by Columbia College faculty. This six-credit program will count as department or College electives, and satisfies the Global Awareness requirement.

Situated on the River Vltava in central Bohemia, Prague has been the political, cultural, and economic centre of the Czech state for over 1100 years. The city proper is home to more than 1.2 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of over 1.9 million. Prague is widely considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with preserved examples from all periods of its history and is among the most visited cities on the continent.
