Born in New Jersey and raised abroad in Europe and Asia, Daureen attended Scripps College in Los Angeles, CA and earned a BA in Theater/The Humanities. Seeking fame and fortune in Hollywood, Daureen worked as an actor in film and television for a decade. In the early 1990's, she segued into the fashion industry to work closely with local Los Angeles designers and build the clientele for two major retail venues. Moving into the world of direct sales in luxury women's apparel, Daureen worked and traveled extensively throughout the United States as a Regional Sales Manager, then Vice-President of Business Development, for two large companies. Her responsibilities included strategic planning, recruitment, sales management, marketing, training and team building.
