Karen Anderson joined the Columbia College Music Center as Administrative Assistant in 1997 and now serves the department as Equipment Cage Assistant.  Anderson studied classical piano for twelve years under the tutelage of Mrs. Viola Burns, and she sung as a member of the church choir.  While previously employed as Creative Secretary at a local advertising agency, she did an MTV video spot with Davy Jones of the Monkees.
