MANIFEST EXHIBITION TIMELINE
To access specific deadlines, information and resources pertaining to the exhibition, please go to the Manifest Photo Show 2012’s MOODLE page located in the Photography folder under Student Resource Centers.
Early December
Information Session: Web Agent & Talent Pool: Q&A and workshop with Wes Morris. Date and time TBD.
December – January
Develop submission portfolio(s), Web Agent and Talent Pool sites.
Early February
Submission process begins. Students have 3 weeks to upload portfolio(s) to Web Agent AND return the submission form on MOODLE.
Information Session: Web Agent & Talent Pool. Date and time TBD.
Late February
Final deadline for your webagent submission to be finalized.
Early March
Submission review.
Individual student follow-up meetings (by appointment only).
Students are notified of work chosen for the exhibition.
March – Mid-April
Produce work for the exhibition. Plan ahead to print, frame and write artist’s statement. All work needs to be completed by the drop deadline.
Students with questions/concerns may make appointments with the exhibition coordinators during this time.
Mid-March
Information Session: Presentation, Artist Statement and Catalogue. Date and time TBD.
Information Session: Industry Night & Shop Columbia. Date and time TBD.
**March 26-31: Spring Break**
Early April
Register for Industry Night.
Catalogue submissions due.
Artwork must be dropped off at the gallery, along with contact sheet and image list. Times TBA.
Mid-April
Installation.
B.A. + B.F.A Photography Exhibition opens.
Early May
Industry Night (May 3).
Exhibition opening reception and commencement of campus-wide MANIFEST events.
Mid-May
Exhibition closes.
De-installation (times TBA). Students pick up work from gallery at this time.
STUDENTS PLEASE NOTE:
It is your responsibility to keep up to date with your entire submission throughout the Manifest process. It is essential that you meet deadlines, access the MOODLE site for information, upload your submission items on time, and attend the information sessions. Non-complying students are not guaranteed space in the show. Students are expected to demonstrate professionalism regarding all obligations and responsibilities. Any student who fails to meet these expectations may forfeit their participation in the exhibition.
