Week of March 8 -12
Class visits with Senior Photo Students to review upcoming Manifest process and procedures. Initial sign up for student submission review sessions.
March 15 -19
10 minute Submission Reviews with students to select work, determine sizing and framing needs. Meet in 12th Floor Prep Room, Room 1202, 600 S. Michigan Avenue.
Come prepared to show your best one or two bodies of work – during this meeting, a selection will be made regarding which works will be included in the Manifest show. Advice on matting, mounting & pricing your work will also be provided.
Current BA / BFA students should schedule a meeting time by using Timetrade application.
March 29 - April 2

Early April
You are responsible for producing your work selected for Manifest show – plan ahead to print, frame, write artist’s statement, etc. ALL work will need to meet the drop deadline of April 19th. No extensions.
April 1
Last day to register for Industry Night : : See Portfolio Center website www.colum.edu/industrynight
April 9
Last day Digital Lab can guarantee your print orders.
The Digital Lab cannot guarantee the completion of any print order received by students after 12:00 noon on April 10th. After this deadline we can only offer a recommendation of a professional lab for printing and you will then be responsible for these printing fees. Note: You must also allow time for framing.
April 16
Informational meeting, which will address: framing, matting, business cards, promotional materials, books, pricing, consigning with ShopColumbia, Industry Night and finalizing the catalogue. (Strongly suggested to attend for all current students).
April 19 - 21
Artwork must be dropped off at the gallery.
*Drop off your final work, image and titles, to Gallery 1006 South Michigan, 1st floor.
April 21
Installation begins.
April 23
Last day to upload images for exhibition catalogue.
May 3
Manifest Photo Exhibition Opens
May 13

May 14
Exhibition Opening Reception! And, start of campus wide Manifest events…..The night we have been waiting for! Your work will be presented to the community in what we hope will be the first of many exhibitions in your professional artistic career. Family and friends welcome.

Exhibition closes.
May 24 - 26
De-installation of exhibit. Pick up of Student work from Gallery – times to be announced.
Final note: There are over 160 graduating students who will participate in the 2010 Manifest show. It is necessary that all participating students demonstrate professionalism regarding their obligations to the show. This means professionalism in following instructions, in being on time for meetings, meeting deadlines, etc. We rely on your compliance to ensure that together we achieve a good exhibition for everyone.
