Minor in Photography

Minor Requirements

The minor in Photography is designed for students who are interested in a formal course of study to compliment their major program. The Photography minor currently houses students from all areas of the college, but is most popular among students majoring in Journalism, Cinema Arts + Sciences, Art + Design, Fine Art, Fashion Studies, Advertising Art Direction, and Graphic Design. The Photography minor provides students with the introductory technical and conceptual skills to help them further their craft. The 18 credit-hour minor includes both foundation courses and electives in photography. Minor students are welcome and encouraged to take additional photography electives after their minor is complete.
