Elena Angelos began her career as a Marketing Director for WMRR FM and WSNX FM in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a Retail Marketing Specialist for Cox Broadcasting, an Account Manager for WTMX-FM and a dedicated seller for Clear Channel. Elena is currently Director of Operations for Gen-A Marketing and teaches the Radio Marketing and Promotions course in the Radio Department.



Diana Bodkins graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Diana's first job in radio was morning show producer at WFYR. Diana joined WLS-AM for the debut of their new talk format as mid-day producer. In June 1994, Diana was appointed Program Director of WLS TalkRadio AM&FM. Diana currently teaches The Radio Producer course.


Burt Burdeen began his radio career in Iowa as a 17 year old On-Air Talent and quickly made his way to Chicago. In Chicago, Burt held a number of positions at radio stations including: Program Director, Production Director, Promotions Director and On-Air Talent. Among Burt's many accolades, was the "Program Director Of The Year" from Billboard magazine. Burt takes great satisfaction in mentoring past and present students and currently teaches Intro to Radio and Radio Broadcasting I.


Chris Cantelmi holds an AA from Northampton Community College, a BA in Theatre from Temple University and an MFA in Dramatic Arts from the University of Connecticut. He is a professional actor who has worked on such venerable local stages as Chicago Shakespeare, Victory Gardens and Black Sheep Productions, where he is an ensemble member. He currently teaches Voice and Articulation in the Radio Department.



Domingo Castillo has an extensive background in production which includes a term of nearly 20 years spent at WNUA 95.5, Chicago's former Smooth Jazz station, where he began as an intern and ultimately became an integral member of their Production Staff and Part-Time Airstaff. As a Freelance Producer his work can be heard in several markets including Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Tulsa, Fresno, Albuquerque and Houston. Domingo, also a full-time musician, recently began his 13th year of teaching Radio Production at Columbia College.



Sheila Clancy earned her undergraduate Journalism Degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois and a master’s degree in Written Communication from National Louis University in Chicago. During her career she has worked as a writer, reporter, editor, typesetter, and producer at numerous news outlets in Chicago such as the City News Bureau of Chicago; the Chicago Tribune; WMAQ All News Radio; FOX-TV; WBBM-AM and most recently as a freelancer for the Chicago Sun-Times. She currently teaches Radio Writing and Newscasting.



Deb Doetzer has been a professional stage and voice-over actress for over 20 years and a proud member of the performers' unions AEA, SAG and AFTRA, and is represented exclusively by Innovative Artists Chicago. Her theatrical credits include the long running hit Shear Madness, as well as original sketch and improv comedy on stages in Chicago, New York City, Boston and Los Angeles. Her prolific voice-over career highlights have been national television campaigns for Samsung, State Farm, Blockbuster and Kraft Mac and Cheese. Currently she teaches Voiceover I on Friday mornings.



Alexx Dupri, a 1999 Columbia College Chicago Radio Department graduate, was born and raised in Chicago. While at Columbia she was both an On-Air Talent and Production Assistant for the school radio station, WCRX 88.1 FM. Alexx started out as a student intern at WGCI-FM and made the unheard of jump from intern to On-Air talent. After graduating, she accepted an On-Air shift in Detroit, followed by another On-Air gig in Orlando, and finally returned to Chicago for stints on WGCI-FM & KISS-FM. Alexx currently can be heard Co-Hosting Mornings on Power 92.3 FM in Chicago.



Sharyn Elman has worked in Television and Radio in Los Angeles and Chicago, as a segment Producer, News Anchor, Radio Morning Show Personality and Reporter, she has covered everything from "The Oscars" to the O.J. Simpson trial. She has anchored a 7-hour "live" election coverage newscast, and in the most recent primary was assigned to cover Hilary Clinton in Chicago. Sharyn can also tell you what it is like to be on the other side of a reporter's questions after running for a State Representative spot in Illinois.



Didi Foley is a 1997 Radio Department graduate. Her experience has taken her all around the Chicagoland area including time at Q101, WLS, Major Networks Broadcasting, Cargo Records, Elektra Records and NextMedia. She has been Program Director and on the air at WBVS(100.7 The Bus/Joliet), WXLC (102.3 XLC/Waukegan) and from January of 2003 until August of 2007 she was the Program Director and afternoon host at WERV 95.9 FM. Currently she is an On-Air Talent at 101.9 WTMX-FM.



Paula Hambrick has worked as a media professional for over twenty-five years. For the past fifteen years, she has facilitated the growth of Hambrick and Associates from a sole proprietorship to a media buying service. As president of Hambrick & Associates, Paula has designed and planned media campaigns for political candidates at the state and federal level, television and radio stations, newspapers, and sports franchises. Paula teaches both The General Sales Course and the Advanced Sales Course in the Radio Department.
