On-Air Staff

WCRX-FM is a professionally run radio station staffed by students of the Columbia College Chicago Radio Department who have taken prerequisite course work prior to working at the station.

Each semester a new group of students sign up for a semester long practicum where they meet every week to build on their training and develop their skills.

Dominick Cavaiani

Dominick has grown up listening to music radio and listening to some of the greatest morning show personalities in Chicago. He has always had a great interest and knowledge of music and has the 411 on what's happening behind the scenes in your favorite artist's lives. Join Dominick Allan's "Dom at Dawn,"every Monday morning from 7 to 11 and get your week started the right way. Ryan McKiddy

Ryan's love for radio started when he was 11 years old. From time to time, he would call in to announce a song on the nightly countdown on his favorite FM station. Bam! The radio bug hit him and not once has he looked back. He knew that he wanted to be a radio personality.

Every Monday afternoon, Ryan delivers to you all your favorite WCRX music. At 5 p.m., it's the "5 O'Clock Free for All," where you can hear anything from brand new music to 90's music to boy bands. Shawn Donoghue

Hailing from the keystone state and the city of brotherly love, Shawn's taste in music has always had plenty of variety. Growing up on healthy doses of her hippie parents' favorites like Fleetwood Mac, Dylan and (what hippie collection is complete without) the grateful Dead along with her sisters preferred Will Smith, Aaron Carter, and Michelle Branch. Shawn's managed to keep her music interests broad, and now she wants to share them with you, every Tuesday 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
