Adjunct Faculty: A-F

Elena Angelos began her career as a Marketing Director for WMRR FM and WSNX FM in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a Retail Marketing Specialist for Cox Broadcasting, an Account Manager for WTMX-FM and a dedicated seller for Clear Channel. Elena is currently Director of Operations for Gen-A Marketing and teaches the Radio Marketing and Promotions course in the Radio Department.


Diana Bodkins graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Diana's first job in radio was morning show producer at WFYR. Diana joined WLS-AM for the debut of their new talk format as mid-day producer. In June 1994, Diana was appointed Program Director of WLS TalkRadio AM&FM. Diana currently teaches The Radio Producer course.


Burt Burdeen began his radio career in Iowa as a 17 year old On-Air Talent and quickly made his way to Chicago. In Chicago, Burt held a number of positions at radio stations including: Program Director, Production Director, Promotions Director and On-Air Talent. Among Burt's many accolades, was the "Program Director Of The Year" from Billboard magazine. Burt takes great satisfaction in mentoring past and present students and currently teaches Intro to Radio and Radio Broadcasting I.


Chris Cantelmi holds an AA from Northampton Community College, a BA in Theatre from Temple University and an MFA in Dramatic Arts from the University of Connecticut. He is a professional actor who has worked on such venerable local stages as Chicago Shakespeare, Victory Gardens and Black Sheep Productions, where he is an ensemble member. He currently teaches Voice and Articulation in the Radio Department.


Domingo Castillo proudly states that teaching Production is one of his favorite jobs. When he isn't teaching you can hear him on Smooth Jazz WNUA 95.5 Voicing Commercials or doing the occasional Airshift as a member of the Part-Time Airstaff, a position he has held since initially interning at the station in 1992. As a Freelance Producer his work can be heard in several markets including Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Tulsa, Fresno, Albuquerque and Houston.
 

Sheila Clancy(picture forthcoming) earned her undergraduate Journalism Degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois and a master’s degree in Written Communication from National Louis University in Chicago. During her career she has worked as a writer, reporter, editor, typesetter, and producer at numerous news outlets in Chicago such as the City News Bureau of Chicago; the Chicago Tribune; WMAQ All News Radio; FOX-TV; WBBM-AM and most recently as a freelancer for the Chicago Sun-Times. She currently teaches Radio Writing and Newscasting.


Didi Foley is a 1997 Radio Department graduate. Her experience has taken her all around the Chicagoland area including time at Q101, WLS, Major Networks Broadcasting, Cargo Records, Elektra Records and NextMedia. She has been Program Director and on the air at WBVS(100.7 The Bus/Joliet), WXLC (102.3 XLC/Waukegan) and from January of 2003 until August of 2007 she was the Program Director and afternoon host at WERV 95.9 FM. Currently she is an On-Air Talent at 101.9 WTMX-FM.


Paula Hambrick has worked as a media professional for over twenty-five years. For the past fifteen years, she has facilitated the growth of Hambrick and Associates from a sole proprietorship to a media buying service. As president of Hambrick & Associates, Paula has designed and planned media campaigns for political candidates at the state and federal level, television and radio stations, newspapers, and sports franchises. Paula teaches both The General Sales Course and the Advanced Sales Course in the Radio Department.
