Writing & Producing

Television is known as the Producer's medium. The writer/producer is the person-in-charge who creates new programs, develops new series, and oversees all aspects of production from the idea stage through marketing and distribution. (Check out our Semester in LA opportunities). Television core courses are required for all Television majors.Â

Students must complete a minimum of 16 credits in the 

concentration electives. Concentration electives are 

department courses from the 3000 level. A student may 

select the option of a full-time semester in Los Angeles 

towards the completion of the concentration electives.
